The Super Star Destroyer Banshee, a mock up decoy, is destroyed in battle as a ruse to trick the Rebellion into believing it was the Super Star Destroyer Executor II with Grand Admiral Larsen was aboard. This subterfuge deflects attention away from the Imperial Order’s main base of operations, the Ryloth System in the Orus Sector, allowing the Empire to begin rebuilding its forces.
