Race Rules:

• Races will run once a week at a set day and time.
• The race track will be selected each week by the Podracing Commissioner.
• Races will consist of five laps.
• The winner of the race will be granted the title of Fastest Podracer in the Galaxy and will receive 25,000 Imperial Credits.
• Second Place racers will receive 10,000 Credits and Third Place racers will take home 5,000 Credits.
• Failure to compete in a race without prior explanation or excusal will result in a 10,000 Credit deduction from your IC account.

Pod Ownership:

Racers who sign up for entry into the Podracing tournaments must place a down payment of 25,000 Imperial Credits for their new pod. Upon recieving the amount, the Galactic Podracing Commission will authorize ownership to the racer for one of the 22 available pods in the Pod Bay Hangar. Upon selection of a pod, the racer must pay the rest of the pod ownership fee of 75,000 Imperial Credits. If the racer does not have the entire amount, a payment plan will be agreed upon by the racer and Podracing Commission. Racers are allowed to use only the pod they have puchased and, should they wish to change pods, they must first compete in five races with their current pod before switching to another. *note: the only pod a racer can not buy is the Sebulba since it is the only one equipped with a Flame Vent.

Betting Guidlines:

• Any member of the Imperial Order may bet on the Pod Races.
• Bets can only be placed on more than one racer and may not exceed the amount of 100,000 Imperial Credits.
• Betting odds will be calculated for each racer as per their standing in the previous race.
